who am i?

mmm, i don’t know who i am… i don’t even know what is important enough to put in a biography. i know that some things are significant, but i am certainly not the judge of which are/are not. maybe i will just write what comes to mind…

i am… very little really. i am even less when compared to Christ… a worm, if you will. but i know that i am ‘the work of [His] hands, that [He] might be glorified.’ with that said, i will attempt to describe this work.

i am alexis. fueling me are words that are both rich and few. i crave sunsets, campfires, hot coffee, simple food, good stories, and quiet nights. i enjoy a few friends, but fear that i think to highly of myself to enjoy them more.  Christ is my Truth and i am His prodigal son returned. my bride, beth, is a part of me in a way that i cannot explain. i love her.

more practically, i work in university admissions and own an old cottage amid a beautiful tennessee landscape. we have two black cats.
